Help Newbie got txt issues

Switched over from iphone to skyrocket last month and everything been going good until now!!! My texts freezes or 'clitches out' while I'm in the middle of texting and it will do one of two things...or both!! 1-it would erase the word I had just wrote after I press the space button. 2-when I press a button (seems to happen alot when I press 'o') it would freeze for a second than anything I would try to write after that does not appear on screen. wth??? never experienced this issue before with any phone. PLEASE HELP THIS NEW ANDROID USER!!!!!

Do you have the latest update (2.3.6)? If not update your device and then see if the issue remains.

Also is this with every text\sms or just to one particular person?

Lastly I take it you've tried restarting the device?
