I just purchased an LG Optimus V. I am a previous iphone owner. I learned how to jailbreak my 3G and 4 models. One of the first things I did when I purchased this phone was look to see if it can be jailbroken. Everything seems to point to rooting. I am curious as to what this is exactly and whether I should do it or not. I am looking for the pros and cons of it. I already figured out how to set up wifi hot spot and had some questions. The only thing I really want to use it for is at work to get into my fantasy baseball chat room on my laptop. Works wifi blocks it. I don't want my phone to be terminated for using it though. I won't be using it to download with. Just web browsing.
