Your question is a little hard to answer.... Everybody will suggest what they like and it might not "fit" your needs and budget.
If you know what service carrier you want try looking at the Android phone models they offer.
After that go to YouTube and watch a few review videos.... The ultimate test after that is personally holding the phone in your hands... Play with it, if it feels right and looks great... Congrats! You found the right phone for you.
Spagman72 is correct..... look around at what's available, go see them in person in the stores. And don't be afraid to ask questions about what it can and can't do, and what you WANT it to do.
