Root newbie need help rooting lg esteem

hey! im new here and you all seem so tech savvy where as i havent the slightest clue. I was recently told about rooting my phone and wanted to know the easiest way to do it. thanks in advance you all!
 
Best bet would be all things root guide posted by costarican.. lots of people around here can help if you run into issues.. YouTube should be a last resort unless found in this forum tbh for the sole reason of help.. plus there are many ways to root so make sure if you do go that route instead make sure it is esteem specific..
