OK... At Yuletide, I shall be making my first foray into the world known as ANDROID by purchasing a white HTC Hero (yum yum).

I wish to make it look stonking by putting a custom ROM on it - Custom clock etc... Like this:

Now I've seen names like:

OpenHome
Cyanogen
)although they tell me it doesn't work on Hero
AHome
and a few others...

Which is better for customization and speed and is it easy to set them up?

You did mention Ahome in your post along with Cyanogen ...
so your statement above is disrespectful and unnecessary.
No it was necessary, you put this:

I was NOT aware that aHome would not work on Hero ...

When I never mentioned it didn't work on Hero, I said Cyanogen's one didn't... AHome is on the database under HERO so it must work - I do my research - I just don't like the look of it.

If you want to be civil then you are welcome here ... if not I will be happy to boot you out ...

Your Choice ...
Whenever I've posted ion here (three times now) the replies I've recieved are of no help whatsoever because people have generally not read my posts properly and gave me advice on something that's not mentioned in my original post.

I'm not being "dissrespectful", I'm just asking for someone who can help me instead of people who can't.

Fair Warning ...
Not really. non-justified attack is more like it.

Now please, can anyone help me?

Here is your mention of Ahome and asking which is better ...

So you asked about more than one thing. Maybe you are confused about what you are asking ...
No, I know I mentioned AHome, what I didn't say was that AHome doesn't work on Hero - I know it does because it's on a database of mods.

I'm not confused, never have been.
I am fully aware of what I asked: Which of the list I put is the best.

My previous point was that I was not aware that aHome would not work on Hero ... (because I don't have a Hero) ... so could not say for it
It does

You may not get any answer that answers what you may be thinking ... when you write something different.
I don't think differently to what I type, I'm 32 and very literate.
If I don't use correct terminology for something then that's different and normal for someone who's new to something.

And posting a curt response to someone who has answered part of you multipart question... Isn't likely to get further response ...
I wasn't "curt", I asked if someone who knows about Hero could answer my question... so basically, you're saying a decent request is aggressive and impolite?

Why should anyone else want to even try to help someone responding so callously.
Why should someone so high up on the forum such as yourself try to help somone's query and not help them at all?
