Help Newbie needs HELP!?

I just made the switch from my Pre to the Evo and am SOOOOOO happy!!!

But I need some guidance/help. I have several ringtones and images that I would like to use. I've "moved" them to the Evo, but can't seem to access them to begin using with my contacts.

ANY guidance would be GREATLY appreciated.

Where did you move them to?

media on the sd card should look like this:

sdcard/notifications/
sdcard/ringtones/
sdcard/music/
sdcard/videos/

don't make sub-folders in media folders. Notifications (ringtones also?) need to be under something like 30 seconds.

I THOUGHT I moved everything to the SD card. I see the folders (some of them) you listed but can't find them when I try to associate a ringtone to a contact. I'm SOOOO confused!?
