Newbie, nook color question

I have a nook color which my partner rooted back for me when I received it in March. I want to install the flash player but unable since the system is running on the software 1.1 for rooting. Any suggestions on how to do this? I am the less techy one at these things but would like to learn. If anyone can point me in the right direction greatly appreciated.

You should head over to B&N NOOKcolor - Android Forums for helpful advice.

If I'm not mistaken, for Flash to work you must be at least on 1.2. If you want to stay stock and rooted, you must first flash back to stock 1.1 and then apply the update and root again.

That's a lot of work to just be at the stock Nook with Flash. You might ant to consider installing a rom like CyanogenMod 7 which will give you a very full tablet experience.
