Newbie question from potential iPhone convert

Okay, I'm a 3Gs user right now, but I've been drooling over the Froyo development and am considering making the jump when my contract expires in 13 months (yeah, I know, a while). Still, I've got a complete newbie question that will make some difference to me in whether we convert or not. My wife and I are on the same iTunes account, meaning that when I purchase an app, we get that app on both her iPhone and mine without being double charged. Does that hold true with the Android Marketplace as well? Will I have to buy two copies of the same program, especially since we'll be on the same account? How does that work?

Also, how is the Android as a music/video player? I've been looking at bTunes and it looks like a great app. Any comments?

Thanks,

Total Newbie, ready to get flamed

i dont think you will get flamed here dont worry. i find the iphone forums to have much more flaming going on. especially if you mention you like anything other than an iphone haha.

but im almost positive any apps that are bought you will be able to get them on both phones no problem. iv never done it but i know when you get a new droid phone all you have to do is log in your account and you get all your apps that you payed for back.

also i think you will be very happy making the switch.

and btunes is pretty good. honestly you cant beat the music player on an iphone. but i have an itouch for that so it doesn't bother me
