Hello,
I'm Ron from the netherlands. I'm a programmer since 1985 and very much interested in Mobile Apps. The simple one's I create with RADPhp from embarcadero, for iOS and Android. But now I want something more difficult to do so I thought about Location Base Services.. Yes, that would be nice. Starting simple I want to get my current location and then calculate or recognize if there are restaurants in the neighbourhood, lets say in a circle of 500 meters (sorry, i'm from the metric system). Getting the location from my Galaxy SII isn't difficult... But how can I get the restaurants in the circle?????? Googled for everything I can think of, Geocoding, LBS, reverse Geocoding etc.. But nothing goog came up..
Does anybody now what I need after getting the lat/lon? Naturally I have a database online with restaurants and there lat/lon, I can reach google maps but what must I program??
Please, any help would be appreciated. I know it can be done because every navigation system does it!
Regards,
