Ok, so looking to buy a Samsung Galaxy S2 to upgrade from a HTC Desire. Just got a few questions though.

1) if I buy it on PAYG from O2, would my Orange SIM work in it? Or would it be better to buy it SIM free?

2) is there any major issues with the S2?

3) Has anyone else upgraded from a Desire to S2? Did you find it difficult or hard to do?

1) Likely not but you never know. You could always get the Phone unlocked for a fee (

Thanks for the help, the other question is a weird one.

One thing I hate on the Desire is that I can't have select facebook contacts, it's either ALL my contacts or none at all. This means my phones clogged up and when I used the dialer that typing numbers in produced a lot of results. Same went for messages.

Does the Galaxy S2 offer the option to only link contacts in the phonebook without downloading all facebook contacts to the phone?

Nope, it's the same as on the HTC, you either have all your facebook contacts, or none.

Another question, am in the UK and buying through carphonewarehouse but not sure if I want to just buy it unbranded or buy it branded? Does it make a difference?
