Help Newbie seeking advice

I'm very new to Android (HTC Desire HD) and I'm thinking of getting a Transformer. Will all the apps that work on my phone also work on the Transformer? As I understand the Transformer has a different version of Android to the phone. The apps that I want to use on the Transformer are:

Barcode Scanner
Dolphin Browser HD
File Expert
Calendar Pad
LastPass
Lookout
MoboPlayer
SplashID
EasyMoney
RockPlayer Lite
Smart Keyboard
SwiFTP

I also want to know whether ebook files I currently use on Windows 7 with Adobe Reader and Kindle for PC can be transferred to the Transformer.

to be honest dude, all the apps ive procured apart from 2 (switchpro widget and GBA emulator - cos that was removed) are available and working fine on the Transformer, and I have a DHD too.

Havent really come across an app that was like "OMG this can't work on a tablet!"...yet, but the tablet environment is growing and developers are seeing growth in that market so they'll start making their apps tablet compatible

In regards to your books via kindle? all the books you procure on your amazon/kindle account will be available to download again on your android app. and there is another e-book reader available if you want to view books you transfer across to your TF.

I am planning on buying one if I can nab that $100 discount. As long as Swype and GrooveIP works (which it are supposed), I'll be happy.

Has anyone tried Dish Online? To me it's as good or better than Netflix (if you have a Dish account).
