Newbie signs in

HI --

Joined pretty much to try to learn more about rthe Kindle Fire.

NOT interested in rootinmg it.

Mainly looking for advice and how-to on sideloading apps. Almost every piece of advice I have read so far does not work.

I do know about syncing via cable so that the KF appears as a drive on my computer. I have been able to download apps to my computer, but get lost whn trying to transfer 'em over to the KF.
