Whats up everybody, short intro here...US Air Force member stationed in Germany...AVID Apple user, had iPhone 3G, iPhone 4, plenty of iPods, iPad 2, and strictly Macbook Pro user. Currently have an iPhone 5 on the way (time for an upgrade for my plan), wifey wanted to upgrade her iPhone 4 but is not able to. Being the great husband i am, I decided to let her have the 5 and i would stick with the 4. Two days ago, a co-worker of mine said he had a Galaxy S3 he didn't want (international version). Worked out a deal, 3 payments of 100 euro...two days with the phone now, still getting used to it, but overall...very impressed. Its a BEAUTIFUL phone! I hate all this Apple vs. Android bs. I love my Apple products and i love my new S3..lets met get a chance to try new things. Looking forward to learning everything I can about my phone. DEFINITELY want to get a Google Nexus 7 tablet to try it out since its so cheap (but nothing tops the iPad when it comes to tablets :D) we'll see how everything works out.
 
Welcome to the Android community! I, like you, once was an Apple user. Had a macbook pro, iPod, iPhone, airport express, etc. If Apple made it, I wanted it. Then I found the wondrous world of Android! I can still appreciate the Apple products for what they are. Wife has an iPad and I do use it some. But personally, I like using my Android devices better. I have a Galaxy Nexus and the Nexus 7 Tablet and love them both! I'm sure you'll find out new stuff almost daily with your phone for a few weeks, tons of features in these things!

Personally i have had a couple iPods, my mom loves Apple, i am more of an Android guy though.

I agree completely about all this Android vs Apple nonsense, I think it's stupid, let's promote competition not hinder it with all this bashing and whatnot.

I hope you enjoy your time here at AF and we are certainly glad to have you here :D:D:D
 
I appreciate the love! How's the nexus 7 tablet? I used my dads Motorola Xoom when I went home on leave, wasn't bad at all...I use my iPad for good reader...I love that app! I have all my vehicle manuals, service records, and every PDF I have on there. Wish they had it for android :/ no biggie though.
 
The Nexus 7 tablet is probably the best tablet out there right now, at a great price too, 235$. It is amazing, and does everything you want from a tablet and more :)

I would consider either checking out the Nexus 7 or the newest Kindle Fire.

Absolutely LOVE my Nexus 7. Perfect size and weight and it does everything I want a tablet to do and looks and performs great while doing it!
