Hi, I just registered on your site. I am a novice at this, but eager and willing to learn. I heard about rooting my phone and was led here by knoxville363. Hope to make new friends and learn lots of stuff!

Hi dlfoulds, and welcome to AF :)

It's not that long since we were all novices, so don't worry about that :)

Rooting is device-specific, so my advice would be to look in the "android phones" section to find a forum for your phone model. That should have a subforum called "All Things Root", which is where root matters are discussed, and should be the best place to find out what to do.

Anyway, glad to have you aboard, and if there's anything you need, just ask :)
