Help [newbies Q] calendar app/dock

hi guys i am new and confused, so hopefully i can ask away some noob questions dedicated for HTC ONE X for help, please be nice to me

was wondering if someone can help me locate a good looking widget/app/dock for calendar to suite our HD screen - 1x1 size, click to link open generic calendar function, free?

(the generic calendar app dock does not display the current date details, its simply a calendar icon.)

i've tried alot of them already, and only a few does this, but do not offer click to link open the generic calendar function, or requires to buy a 'plus' version to enable this function.. eg: calendar widget 2 lite , clock inn.

any suggestions?

i found an adequate one:

-yco clock
actually a clock widget but they also included a 1x1 calender widget that will link open to generic calendar app. the calendar widget has a transparent feel and looks ok.

-what's today calendar widget
also does what i want but looks very blend and generic, not good looking.
