hi, just got my first android phone, leaving my iphone 4 behind. now using a galaxy s3.
any hints or tips would be helpfull.
would like to get a calendar that allows to add events every other week(every two weeks) as this was handy for me working shifts. my ios did it but this one has every other configuration except that one!!
are they easy to unlock to any other network, is on 3 at the moment..not that i need to, as on contract.. lol

Wow, we're getting a lot of iPhone 4 folks coming onto the GS3 and you picked a great phone. You might want to check out the Galaxy S3 forum right here

and bookmark it. People there can answer your questions and I think you'll find us all a friendly enough bunch. In time, you'll become more knowledgeable and start helping others... that's how it works here. We're ALL newbies at one time or another, and there's nothing embarrassing about that

Just remember that iPhone and Android do much the same things, only differently. I think you'll find the open environment of Android more customizable, but it takes a little more effort managing it. You'll do just fine.
