Hello and welcome to Android Forums, watkinsk! 
Notes is one of the sticking points with outlook sync. I know there are solutions, but I don't use outlook notes, so hopefully someone else will chime in.
Now, that said, in the intro forum, we don't see a lot of regular members reading through, since technically it's just for introductions. You might want to post again in Android Applications - Android Forums.
