Help Newcomer needs simple support

Hi all,
OK so I'm new to this having just come over from iPhone and have some questions which are probably SO basic, but anyway here goes!
1. I have an outlook email, gmail & Hotmail - Is there a WIDGET (not the K9 app) which will display a unified mailbox?
2. Loving Friendstream but hating that it ports all Facebook & Flickr contact info in to my 'contacts' is there anyway I can avoid this (as I don't ever really contact all of them) but still use the stream?

1. Yes, HTC Mail can combine all mailboxes and it has a widget
2. You can turn off contact sync in the accounts section of Settings (or you should be able to - having contacts sync with the apps is the best thing about it!!)

1. if you dont want to use the HTC mail app, you could try maildroid, it has the option for a unified inbox.
2...not sure sorry. but there is an option to show only contacts with phone numbers in the people app's settings.

Finally got my head around all this now!
Now I'm hunting for NIKE+ to make them make a widget and app then i'm sorted (oh, that and Autostitch!)
