Just finished rooting my Desire. To those contemplating it I'd say go for it but do set aside some quiet time to concentrate unless you are a real techie. There are some things you have to work out, such as running winzip on the Goldcard tool, but the guides are really good. Many thanks to Suroot, Karndpr, El Presidente and the others. I'm going to run the backups and look at some new ROMs but I need a lie down in a dark room first!
