News Widget

Would like to know this also..I have an HTC Incredible, but I don't see a news widget in my list. Would have to find it if there is one!

Thomson Reuters(by Handmark). I have 2 widgets (5x1 - ADW), one for Top Stories, another for Tech News. They also have an offline download option.

But I have only been using it for 2 days, but i really like it so far.

I started using this app as well. It's a great way to read the news on a variety of issues and it's a brand name news source. The only problem I have with it, is the widget doesn't seem to update very often. I woke up to news I already read from yesterday.. while there was already news in the app itself from less than an hour ago. I think the widget would serve a user better if it only scrolled through the latest 3 or 5 articles, rather than ALL in a given category.

But again, the actual app itself is excellent, especially offline mode. For a widget, I'm still looking...

With news apps it seems to either be a good program with a crap widget, or a crap program with a nice widget. Or a nice program with a nice widget that only works with Sense. I can have absolutely everything I want on my phone. Just not at the same time!

INDEED!!!

I've just switched to launcherpro from sense, and the one thing I miss is the news widget. On sense in had three full page widgets devoted to it, and I need a replacement! Requirements are:

Full page widget
Multiple homescreen support
Simple aesthetics
Customisable news feeds

I'd appreciate any help you can offer!

What news widget did you have before?

Actually, Genie Widget DOES allow customizable topics based off keywords and phrases. As far as I know, its the only one that aggregates feeds based off keywords or phrases.

Yes, I figured that out myself the other day.

I put in Android and I now have a tab with all articles about Android. Very cool
