Help Nexus 10 won't power on

I left my nexus 10 charging for the weekend and I came home to where it would show the battery symbol but wouldn't show anything else and won't power on. I've tried every tip and trick and it doesn't work. (My warranty is up on it)

Let it charge for 2-3 hours before turning it on- the battery may be below the safe threshold. I've seen this happen on my mom's Nexus 7.

EDIT: Misread your post. Unplug it, hold power down for 10-15 seconds, see what happens. This tablet came out <1 year ago, you should have a 1 year warranty on it that hasn't expired yet.

I finally got it to work thank you. This happened to my original nexus 7 and I reconnected the battery on that and it also worked
