Help Nexus 4 has large dark spot in center of photos

Photos taken in flourescent-lit rooms (possibly in general, just noticing this problem) seem to all have a darker spot, with a greenish tent, in the center. Not a sudden, small, spot, but like the picture dims as you get closer to the center. Any ideas?

Dirt on the lens ..?

Do you see the same issue on the screen before taking the picture?

A green tinge in flourescent light is a standard issue in film photography, usually addressed with a filter. Not quite sure what the electric photo work around is, but I'm guessing it's something to with white balance (while in camera, tap and hold, then slide toward 7 o'clock on the circle-of-settings)
