Help Nexus 4 Keyboard buttons

My wife's Google Nexus 4 is refusing to type the w, a, and x keys for some reason. I have even tried installing a different keyboard. Any suggestions/solutions?

Does it refuse to type those letters in both portrait and landscape mode?

I think what Mike's getting at is your digitizer (the part of the screen that is sensitive to touch) might be going bad and not responding at those specific screen coordinates. Rotating your keyboard would rule that out.

Or you could also try a different keyboard to see if it's related to software (if the above explanations don't give results)
