For the past 2 weeks my nexus 4 was randomly shutting down in my pocket when I wasn't using it & when the battery was about to die. This week, it got worse. The time & date would be off and my wallpaper would always change to phase beam. The battery bar would be incorrect too, sometimes rebooting and saying I had more power than before. Yesterday though it crashed while I was using it then came back on, ever since then its been working 100% fine. It doesn't reboot when it's about to die and the battery status accurate too. I think stock KitKat 4.4.4 might be the cause but at least it's working again 👌
