Hi everybody, hopefully someone can help out. I have a nexus 4 running 5.0.1 lollipop stock. Here's my problem I want to cast my screen to the chromecast it does work, but my phone overheats a lot with it since the screen has to be on. any ideas or fixes?. Any help is appreciated.
Thank you,
Anthony.

Hmm. I'm not sure there's a whole lot you can do about that then.

Have you tried turning the display brightness down all the way?

Or if you're feeling super adventurous, I recently installed a thermal pad against the SoC in my N4 which seems to have helped a bit with thermal-related issues.

Yea it seems like a throttle issue upto the point where even certain websites like live streaming ones overheats the phone, and sometimes it won't let it charge I've seen my batter percentage go down with it plugged in. Even though battery life isn't great as is I'm getting 2:30 hours SOT. I do love this phone though I don't know what I'd upgrade to next... Either way, I think I'll just return this chromecast. That mad scientist cackle :-). Thank you for all the help,
Anthony .
