Nexus 5 Dead pixel

Today I got my first smartphone, a Nexus 5. After having it less than 7 hours it already has a dead pixel. I tried using a pixel fix app but it didn't work. As I said, I'm new with smartphones and I don't know if I should/could return it, or just live with it. I guess what I'm really asking is will more pixels likely die? I'm also new with T-mobile so I'm not sure on their leniency.

Dead pixels come under the "manufacturing defect" warranty. Bring it back.

Will more pixels die? Can't say - it depends on the particular cause of this dead one. Infant mortality in a cell? Chances are none others will. Contamination during manufacture? The whole screen could eventually die. And there are possibilities between those extremes.
