Nexus 5 GPS problem

I have a new Nexus 5 purchased from Google Play (white 32GB shipped in 2 days) and cannot get the GPS turned on. I have location servises ON and have tried GPS ONLY and HIGH ACCURACY settings. I've tried Google Maos, Waze, GPS Compass and GPS Stats apps and none can find my location.

Am I SOL or is there something I've missed in turning on GPS ? I hate the thought of trying to get warranty service from LG.

Run GPS Essentials. See if it can see any satellites. If i can, see if it can get a fix.

If the answer to either is "no", I think you need a new phone.

Tried GPS essentials and several others that track satellites. None of them see the satellites at all so I guess I am about to find out about the return, or warranty, procedure. I've had it less than a week so probably can just return it.

I bought my phone from google store and never had a problem with them.I just oder a new phone,no money is taken from my account.Once i recieve the new phone i send the old one back.Sorted
