I updated my nexus 5 to Android 5.1 two days ago and now it has a charging problem. When I plug it in, it says charging, but is not actually charging. The charging icon on the battery comes on for 10 seconds, then goes off for 3 seconds and then comes back on, keeps this loop forever. The only time it actually charges is when I turn the phone off. I am using original cable (have tried several other cables as well, and it is not a faulty cable issue, as I use the same cable to charge other things) and have tried charging from PC, as well as the wall socket. This issue has emerged after 5.1. The phone is not rooted and the update came as a regular update. Does anyone have the same issue?
