Help Nexus 5 screen problem

My nexus 5 is suddenly having a problem with the screen that the lower half of the screen is sometimes flickering or is distorted. It has never been dropped and has never been immersed in water. Please help me to diagnose the problem as I can't RMA it. Is this a problem with the gpu or the lcd?

For the sake of better understanding your scenario and troubleshooting options, are you rooted?

Why can't you RMA it?

Welcome to the forums! :D

I have not rooted it and I can't rma because I'm in pakistan. I went into the bootloader and the problem is still there. I have also tried to factory reset it but the problem is still there.

Unfortunately it sounds like a hardware issue then. You might try getting the screen replaced. :(

I would try contacting Google just in case to see what they can do
