Help Nexus 5 screen upside down & mirrored

Anyone else having an issue with the screen being upside down and mirrored after 6.0.1? It sends texts on its own now and makes movements between apps/homescreens. No damage occurred to trigger anything. I literally just walked inside, set it down and when I came back to send a text, it was like this. I can occasionally get it to turn off, but reboot does nothing.

It happened to my brother's Nexus 5 two hours ago during a phone call, and have been searching through the internet. I finally find this topic from a year ago, however, it seems no answers. I have attached a photo showing the screen which is flipped and mirrored as well, really hope that there are any people knowing a cure.
