Help Nexus 6 Ressurection

Hi, guys!

I have a Google Nexus 6 (phone) with Android 5. I did not enable USB Debugging in Developer Options, and my device got bricked during OTA updating to Android 6 beta (yes, it was ~1.5 years ago).

Well, it is not actually bricked, it tries to boot, displays android logo etc, but as of now, I cannot boot the OS.
I tried to restore stock ROM through recovery mode, but it did nothing.
I tried to connect the phone to my PC and flash stock ROM with TWRP: it did something, rebooted device multiple times etc, but still cannot boot.

I really lost any hope to restore my phone, probably anyone knows if it is possible at all? I can provide any details you need, describe what I did more clearly etc..

Thank you!

Tried to sideload OTA update: getting 'The ADB device was found but it was listed as offline'. And it asks me to enable USB debugging, pretty funny)

Cannot do anything even with Wugfresh's Nexus Root Toolkit, or probably I do not know the steps(
Downloaded full factory image, trying to use "Flash Stock + Unroot" feature: it does something, then says "Your bootloader is locked. Unlock?" I select "Yes", it does something again, reboots the device and tells "Wait for your device to finish booting up, it may take a while..". Tried to wait for a few hours, it still displays booting logo and this is it(

I do not have my pc right now. On one of the tabs it says soft brick. That's the one you want. Relocking the bootloader was probably a bad idea.

In that thread device displays "Device is UNLOCKED. Status Code: 3", but in my case, it displays "Device is LOCKED. Status Code: 2" (if I am not mistaken it means that device is RELOCKED, not just LOCKED)

Can't it be the issue itself?

I tried to do it with "Unlock Bootloader" button, it says "Enable USB debugging in Developer Options", obviously I cannot do it as I cannot even boot my device. Have I missed anything?

Help!!! My Nexus device is totally messed up. It has ______ problem. What do I do??

Answer: If you are ever experience unexplained complications with your device, need to upgrade/downgrade, or need to restore it back to the way it was when you first bought it, then make use of the “Flash Stock + Unroot” feature.

  • To avoid complications enable Force Flash Mode (recommended)
  • If you want to avoid a data wipe, enable No Wipe Mode (only should be used for incremental updates).
  • If you have complications, Disable ‘No Wipe Mode’. Backup your important files first and do a clean flash (the device will be completely wiped including sdcard content).
Quick Tip: ‘USB Debugging’ is not required for restoring your device.
If you device is bootlooping or can’t boot up, use “Flash Stock + Unroot” with the “Soft-Bricked/Bootloop” option and follow the onscreen instructions for manually booting your device into bootloader mode and restoring your device.

If you plan on returning the device, after your flash stock you can re-lock it as well with the OEM Lock button.

Quick Tip: Re-locking the bootloader is not required for receiving OTA updates.
