Help Nexus 6P Burnt and Partially exploded

Hello, has anyone experienced this unusual and horrific mishap? My Nexus 6P burnt and partially exploded on its own, the device was not even on charge. I contacted Google but their response has been very disappointing. Leave alone an apology they are reluctant to offer a refund for the device.

What should I do?

No ,one on Reddit but isn't sure if that was true or.not ,are you safe ?

I heard about Google issuing refund for every complaint , yesterday heard same from a pixel user .

Sudhanshu, thanks for your concern. It could have been worse if I had not poured a jug full of water on the device. The mobile was right next to me while I was asleep. It emitted strong stench and thick smoke. My 5yr old daughter and wife were sick for a few days because of the smoke.
