Nexus 7 connection to television

hi i have a nexus 7 which i have installed the sky go app onto i would like to connect this to a television so i can watch programmes on a larger screen but am finding it difficult to source a usb to micro usb cable to connect to the tablet. I am of the understanding i need to connect an OTG cable to the hd slot in the television and then a usb to nexus 7 micro usb cable, is this correct?. If so where in the UK can i purchase this from? Any help would be gratefully appreciated.

In the US that would be a microUSB to MHL adapter, which would connect the tab to the HDMI input of the TV. Due to differences in TV standards between the US and the UK, I don't know if you'd use the same adapter, or if there's some similar equivalent there.

But an OTG (On The Go) cable just allows you to connect USB devices (like mice or memory sticks) to the tablet.
