Help Nexus 7 DEAD

I have Nexus 7 with android 4.3 rooted (I don't remember the name of the custom rom).
Yesterday I used it until the end of the battery so it went off. But now it is dead! I plugged it for 10 hours but nothing. Screen completly black.
I also have tried to keep pressed the 3 buttons, but nothing. I also have tried to connect it to my computer with USB cable, but nothing.

I read that other people had this problem and they sent it to Acer for support.

My questions are: since it is rooted, the warranty is it not valid, right? I can't lock it again because it is dead! So if I send it to Acer, will they charge me to repair it? Do you have any idea how much?

BTW I bought it in USA, but I live in Sweden: do you know if the warranty is valid world wild?

Depends on when you bought it. The warranty is only good for one year. Also, if you wanted to send it in, Asus is the manufacturer, not Acer. One other option your could do if you know for a fact it's the battery is look for a replacement online. It's not that difficult to take the back off and then just replace the battery yourself.
 
Mine won't charge at all now - left it for 3 days on the original charger and 20 minutes on my original HTC One X charger and can't even get the green light to come on

Might have to send it back - any suggestions?

Uh, AFAIK there are no charging indicators on the 2012 Nexus 7 (are you perhaps thinking of a different device?)
