Help Nexus 7 defects

I plan on getting a Nexus 7 next week, but I heard there are a lot of people with defective models. I have heard it is normal for most Nexus 7 to have a screen lifting problem and dead pixels and speaker problems too! Is this true? Has anyone here actually experienced problems like this?

In the first few runs there were some screen lift "issues". Honestly the first few runs usually have issues for any device.

Mine had it, but wasn't something that was worth sending it back for. I just lifted the screen and put a dab of superglue underneath.

Problem solved.

All reports I've seen are that the problems have been resolved.

Thanks for the fast reply, I think you are right because all the reports of these issues have been a while back. I plan on getting my Nexus 7 and using it for school work. It's a nice size making it very portable, but do you know any apps that I can use to organize and take notes in an almost similar fashion to a binder or notebook with dividers?

Buy the 32Gb version if you are worry about the screen problem of the 16GB version (only a few of them).

Give Evernote a try. Nice thing about this app is you can sync it with your PC.
