Root Nexus 7 digitiser replacement

Hi, I have 2 nexus 7's, both suffered cracked screens, my daughter's one,worked for a month or two with a mouse and otg cable then stopped switching on at all, and remains dead when plugged into a charger. I checked eBay and seen a digitiser for

far as i know if the screen is cracked,then the digitiser has to be replaced,mine cracked too,i sent mine to asus with pics and a explanation that i had nothing todo with it,well they repaired it for free,and by the way,theres plenty of youtube videos on replacing it,and its nt a simple task,i would say you will need both once you start taking it apart,dont think it will be that simple,hope this helps
