Help Nexus 7 Gen 2 Freeze and Reset

Hi,

Just unpacked my Nexus 7 2nd generation yesterday.
And after playing with it for 1 hour, I tried to open the camera, use panoramic view, and the Nexus froze, rebooted and upon reboot the whole tablet was reset... factory reset. So I had to start all over again.
Luckily this happened at the beginning.:)

Any similar experiences?

(I've installed 2 apps before running the camera, Yahoo Weather and Go Weather, could it be related to these apps??):o

1. Power down your device
2. Press and hold both volume keys and power button to enter Bootloader mode
3. Press the volume keys to cycle to Recovery mode option
4. Press power button to select Recovery mode
5. From Recovery mode screen, press and hold the Power button then press the Volume up button.
6. Use volume buttons to select wipe data/factory reset.
7. Select Yes -- delete all user data.
8. The factory data reset process will now start. Once its finished, select 'Reboot system now.'

Thanks Joebloggscity,

This is just a normal factory reset. I know how to do this with Android hardware.
My problem was that it was resetting without my approval. It froze, restarted and all, ALL, my settings, apps and so on were gone. So it was a non-user initiated reset....

It happened within 2 hours of using the Nexus.

Hope someone else had the same experience, because doesn't look good, especially if
you have photo's, video's and other personal stuff on your tablet...
