nexus 7 - gmail - saved pictures?

Hello all,

I have recently started using the gmail app on my nexus 7. When i receive an email with pictures attached, i can see two buttons below each. One is 'view', the other 'save'. After i click 'save', i am not able to find the pictures anywhere using Astro or whatsoever. What is this 'save' button for? I wonder... if It does not save it anywhere on the tablet, that would be somewhat weird:-) or just as ******ed as not being able to mark all messages as read in my inbox! :-)

There should be a folder on the SD card called "Download" (or downloads)... they save to that folder. I use K9 and it saves to any specified folder. Gmail seems to be improving, if it would let you specify folders you wanted to view, and allow you to save .zip files I would switch back. Only seems to let you save pictures and pdf files. K9 "dark" theme is also much nicer than Gmail.
