My Nexus 7's right speaker is broken (it no longer plays sound but just tin can noise) so I crack open it and cut the right speaker's wire, now I can use the left speaker normally.
I found some spare speakers from online sellers for $20 or so, it's not expensive and replacing the speaker set is easy, but what makes me think is that I rarely use the built-in speakers, I prefer earphones for higher quality sounds when it comes to watch movies, music clips..., so maybe I just leave it like that and save a little battery power when I use it for for apps that don't really require better sounds (cartoons, news, youtube...) ?
What do you think ?
