Help Nexus 7 mp332_mac.aa

G'day all, first post so treat me gently please

My Nexus 7 arrived yesterday and one important usage is going to be to listen to Audio Books. I have download a few books from Audible.com which work just fine on my PC. I next installed the Mort.app. I then copied and pasted the book files from the PC into the Downloads folder on the Nexus 7.

I also tried to erase the settings that were set up right after I first installed Mort Player. I did this by going to the Settings app, and clicking on Apps and scrolling down to MortPlayer Audio Books, and clicking on Clear data, but nothing seemed to happen.

Now the problem. Mort is not able to find and run the audio files and insists I do something in the "preferences". I went to "Configuration --> Preferences" and am now lost. File format is, is as you see above, mp332_mac.aa.

Your assistance will be greatly appreciated.

Cheers, Mac

Installing Mort now so I can have a play. :)

You basically want Mort to look at the downloads folder so pick up the .aa file? Is .aa a standard audio book format?

G'day kind Sir,

Following your instructions now. I am really not at all sure about the file extension. It is a completely new one on me. Will report back shortly.

Sorry, having a little trouble following your instructions. Where do I find "Menu" please?

G'day again,

OK found Menu --> Configuration. Then got a message saying no files of correct format or words to that effect. Looks like I might have to go back to Audible.com and see how I can obtain correct file format.

Going to try a different .app called Audio for Android. More later ...

Now working perfectly. Than you again.
