Nexus-7 Newbie

Hi y'all,
Just checking in with a little intro. I filled in the other bio form and there's not a lot beyond it's info. I have a Nexus-7 that my oldest son set up for me since it arrived while I was out of town. Gave him an excuse to play with it since he was the one who talked me into waiting for it in the first place. Plenty of added bells and whistles that I am still trying to figure out. He put Dolphin on it instead of Google Chrome so I'll be picking brains for tips and explanations.

I'm just your basic mama. I have three grown sons who are wonderful men. So proud of them. I also have a grandson and a granddaughter (both 2 years old) and I do a long round trip to watch them a couple days every week. Worth every drop of gas money..... I'm married......well, married, divorced, and then married my high school sweetheart. We live about 100 miles from the Ca/Mexico border in a tiny mountain community. We have snow every winter so that makes it nice for the grandkids (hubby has 6, I have the 2) and we love hosting them. I've had a few back surgeries the last 5 years. I was an OB/Gyn nurse and am out on disability. My 60 hr work weeks are behind me.

I also had a pacemaker put in at 54. Very lucky to be alive since we are an hour from the nearest hospital....in an ambulance. My kids call me "Iron Mom" now. My youngest wants to know if the pacemaker will "chirp" like a smoke alarm when the battery runs low (no it won't!) Hopefully that's the end of the medical challenges. It's like I turned 50 and the warranty ran out.

That's really all there is about me. Probably a little too much!

Welcome to the Android community! Dolphin Browser is really popular around here but I still prefer Chrome since it's what I use on my desktop as well. To each their own though :)
