Help Nexus 7 overheating?

[Averageasian]

Is it normal for Nexus 7's to overheat? I just got my Nexus 7 today, I was very happy . I was playing Dead Trigger for about 10 minutes on my Nexus 7, and I used an OTG to hook up a PS3 controller. It wasn't till I decided to charge my Nexus 7 did I realize that it was crazy hot. Is this normal?

Never played dead trigger, but if it's a graphic intensive game and you've been playing it for 10 minutes then it's normal for it to get really warm or a tad hot. My S3 got pretty warm playing Minecraft.

What do you mean by crazy hot? There are apps that will give temperature. I am running at 76F in a 68F room streaming video.

It's probably the battery, I've seen my battery temperature as high as 36
