Help Nexus 7 screen replacement problem

I've recently replaced the screen on a nexus 7 1st generation and when it was done the touch screen is very unresponsive and the images on the screen are fuzzy and odd colours. Images attached. Any ideas?

I've not had to do a screen replacement on my 1st gen N7, but I've moved your thread over here to the N7 (2012) area for you in hopes that others that have done that procedure can share their insights and experiences with you.

How can you be sure that the replacement screen is flawless ? I'v heard that they are not as good as the original screens and are prone to QC problem.
