Help Nexus 7 sensor broken?

I'm in my Nexus 7 now, but sometimes I have to use it upside down, and sometimes in landscape. It seems to do what it wants when it comes to the orientation it wants to use. There's no lock on it or anything, so that makes me believe that the sensor is dead. I got this last year, so if I contact google about this one, you think they can fix it?

Maybe I'll just deal with it. Its no big deal. I have to other one anyway, but for some reason, I like the feeling of the old one better.

There is an app called Android Sensor Box, it can tell you whether a sensor is defective.

Are you running Cyanogenmod?

I had a similar experience. My screen would flip horizontal with the slightest twitch, and would refuse to revert back to where I wanted it. It took me re-installing CM10 to fix it.
