Help Nexus 7 spreadsheet editing

Lurker
Hi,

New user here and hoping someone can help before the tablet goes out the window...

All i want to do is to edit a spreadsheet that has been emailed to me.
I have uploaded the spreadsheet to google docs (after much faff) but when I open it I can't seem to double click and edit it, and so the spreadsheet is now useless as I though I would be able to edit.

As I am a new user and useless with android very basic instructions are much appreciated!

Any help gratefully received.

Thanks

If the original spreadsheet was in some standard format you may prefer to use an app on the tablet rather than messing with Google Docs, which I find awkward anyway.

I use several apps (depending on the device screen size) but on the Nexus 7 my favourite is Kingsoft Office.

That's great - thanks for the info - will have a look into that :)

+1 for Kingsoft Office.
Much easier than using Google Docs i found.
A few of us at work with tablets use it all the time.
