I went to a different country and borrowed a friend's Samsung phone charger, which worked.
Ever since I got back, I haven't been able to charge my Nexus 7 by plugging it into the wall using its original charger. Up until today that was the only charger I'd ever used, but now it won't work.
However, I tried taking it out of the wall plug part and just using the USB cable in my computer, and it connects fine, shows up as a Nexus 7, and charges just fine.
But no matter what I try, it will not charge when connected to the wall socket.
Any ideas on why that could be? This is a real shame as I assume it's out of warranty now, but I don't really need an upgrade for what I use it for.
I thought maybe the different charge had made something loose, but it can't be that because it will charge by USB with the same cable. Maybe the different charger was providing a different voltage or something?
