Help nexus 7 wont charge, now dead..help??

ive had nexus 7 for a year or more and love it, been trying to charge it for 3 days using different plugs & leads yet none would charge.
Now its out of power...any ideas or is it in the bin

I don't know about your location, but the N7 has only been out for about 10 months here. Are you sure you're talking about a Google Nexus 7 made by Asus?

Have you tried holding down the power button for at least 10 full seconds while it is plugged in? Is it in a case that could be preventing the plug from being inserted all the way? Tried a different charger (not just cables)? Tried holding the plug pressed sideways, up, or down for at least 10 seconds each to see if there's a loose connection?

Don't trash it. I'm sure someone can repair it. Send it my way if you're just going to toss it, I'll pay the shipping

Sometimes you have to hold the power button much longer than 10 seconds. Just hold that sucker down for a good 30 seconds and see what happens.
