I was wondering if anyone has been able to get past the HDMI issue of the Verizon NFL app. I recently bought an MHL adapter and the standard HDMI dock thinking that I could have it show video from my phone to the TV screen. When I'm using the app it states that an HDMI cable is plugged in and then stops the video. I believe it is DRM that resides with HBOgo and Hulu as well but I haven't tried them.
I've tried plugging the cable up/docking after the video is playing but it recognizes this bypass, before and after the app is started.
I thought about trying a downgrade to gingerbread and some possible 3rd party apps in it but trying to determine all options for 4.0+ first.
