Remember when the Nexus devices had removable batteries? I do, because I'm still using my Gnex with seidio 3800 (which STILL lasts me 'almost' 2 days on a full charge, and I am a rather heavy user: netflix, games, fb, text, kakao, gchat, gmail, photos, hd videos, etc). Sad to see the new nexus devices not having that option :[ Let's make our voices heard, Nexus lovers, maybe the next batch of Nexus phones, they'll listen to our cries and revert back to the removable battery that so many of us love.

I wouldn't go as far as to say they need to be removable as much as I'd say they need to be bigger. Why can't we get a 3500mAh battery like the Droid Max on Verizon?

I think every device should have a removable battery, regardless of how long the battery lasts per day. Every battery will eventually need to be replaced so the lack of a removable one means your device will eventually need to be repaired, by which time it will likely be out of warranty, and you either pay or upgrade. The idea of non-removable batteries always brings up the thought of planned obsolescence. I know companies want me to buy new devices and even though I probably will (because not too many people hang onto phones for 4+ years) I hate the idea that I'm forced to and the idea that these companies plan for this outcome either way infuriates me even more.
