Never happened, my guess is that Verizon didn't want it anywhere near it's network considering the amount of freedom the phone allows you.

Yeah, I used to be on VZW but switched to T-Mo just to have my beloved Nexus Verizon really are a bunch of Nazis with what they want/ allow on their phones. I couldn't even manually update my mom's Incredible to Froyo when she got it.
